Inserting images

Here's a picture of one of my favourite American actors. My most favourite in the USA (and former all-time favourite aside another all-time fave I'll talk about after the USA mob) has always been Dustin Hoffman, for his strong characters, charisma and natural abilities to bring intrigue and believeability to his roles, but I hesitate to mention him nor consider him my favourite anymore since the #MeToo scandal raised his name the once in the media. I know - it was just a media mention, nothing solid, but it still duly hinders my banging-on about him.

The Photo - It's a nice natural one, - Tom Hanks - a poignant moment when he was on the red carpet for a premiere of film in which he was the starring hero  - Sully.

I wonder what happens if I cut & paste this Html / BB Code script in here:
<a title="Dick Thomas Johnson from Tokyo, Japan [CC BY 2.0 (https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/2.0)], via Wikimedia Commons" href="https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Sully_Japan_Premiere_Red_Carpet-_Tom_Hanks_(29747825731).jpg"><img width="512" alt="Sully Japan Premiere Red Carpet- Tom Hanks (29747825731)" src="https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/c/c7/Sully_Japan_Premiere_Red_Carpet-_Tom_Hanks_%2829747825731%29.jpg/512px-Sully_Japan_Premiere_Red_Carpet-_Tom_Hanks_%2829747825731%29.jpg"></a>

Probably nothing but script appears. We'll see.

My most favourite actors of all time, globally, have been Australian. Geoffery Rush was always my favourite. An amazingly gifted talented character actor, has a great versatile "look", unfortunately currently in the media spotlight about allegations of sexual harrassment, so again - a confusing example to place on social media and to speak about and think about.

My increasingly EQUAL favourite Aussie actor is Hugo Weaving. What an exceptional talent! He has an amazing range - he has played characters from opposing social ranks and a huge diversity in between. Comedy and tragedy are well within his repetoire - with ease. He's portrayed the slimiest, the true-est and the "funnest", "party-est" of people.  He seems like a bloke who would be a great contributor and a co-operative collaborator, a down-to-earth cast-member, but with a definitely incisive (is that the word?) artistry.  He has had a lot of jobs, and performed on stage and TV and film for years and years. Love his work completely! I'm sure one day he'll write, direct, make films, manage a creative agency, sculpt (he probably already does, actually!) or other great stuff will come to the public's attention, in another fantastic Hugo era that's yet to be seen. For now - Keep on performing, mate!  Here he is, completely off guard (I didn't want to put a pretty shot in, just a  expressive and "real" shot that sat in the middle of his great performative range - ha!!!!):

I won't try adding "code" again this time!

Here's me also trying to add a different photo (Attribution: Josh Jensen [CC BY-SA 2.0 (https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/2.0)], via Wikimedia Commons) via weblink (rather than posting, as above, by saving from the web to my computer):
